If one reaps what he sows, then how is it that good people, even innocent children and newborns, suffer much? Moreover, all that one sows are not reaped within a lifetime, and sometimes the offender gets away with the crime. How, then, people would pay “Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand…”(Exodus 21:24-25)? Surely they will have to come back in another lifetime to pay their karmic debts !
One lifetime in your journey on earth is like a halt at a station. Lord Krishna said: “As a man casting off worn-out garments take new ones, so the dweller in the body casting off worn-out bodies enter into new ones.”
