Spoken words, good or bad, tend to manifest. The elders say “For all that is said, the angels respond with Tatastu.” It means ‘So be it.’

Hence, be careful about what you often say for yourself and others. For example, instead of saying ‘I am sick, I am sad’ and give power to it, you may affirm, ‘I am super healthy, I am super happy, I am super strong, I am super rich! ’

Yes, if you attract more abundance, more prosperity, you can also share more with the people. You can support bigger projects, you can support spiritual institutions. You can do so many things. So, attracting abundance is very good.

Sometimes, you are upset and curse people or say bad things. You may avoid incurring bad karma by mentally affirming: ‘I recall and cancel what I said.’

If you have negative thoughts or ill-will, affirm, ‘I recall and cancel this thought.’

That means, at any given time, be aware of what you are doing at the thought level, at the speech, at the action. All of us have already enough of balancing to do, eons and eons of time of activities have to be properly balanced. So, let us avoid any additional burden by being careful about every thought that comes to us.

If ever you are in a situation where you find people are unkind to you, judging you, criticizing you, rather than getting upset about it, check what is happening to you. What kind of karma had you sown in the past? It is very important.

If you are habituated to judge and criticize people, over time you will exactly attract the same situation for yourself. This is the law. Therefore, rather than simply going through situations painfully, you now start going to the next level of analyzing.

Self-analysis is so important aspect of evolution. You have to analyze exactly what is happening. What kind of input had given me the kind of an output that I am facing challenging situations over and over again, attracting wrong people, difficult situations including poor health?

Everything has got a deep rooted cause. You have to take time to analyze. So, one example that I gave you is, if people are criticizing you, judging you, this is a very clear indication that in the past you have been judging people or even in the present, you are criticizing or judging people or very quick in making your own conclusions.

Most of the time, your negative conclusions about people may not be true. This is the truth. So, if that is the case, then why do you want to unnecessarily add to the burden that you already carry? c

Better that we use this simple tool of disintegrating that energy that you created in the act of having a negative thought then and there and bless the person abundantly. You see, in the ancient time, just to ensure that people do not have any kind of negative thoughts towards spiritual teachers, spiritual masters that symbolically it has been shown in the scriptures that great masters curse somebody to become such and such. These are all scriptural stories just to remind us not to have negative thoughts even towards spiritual teachers.

Every thought that you send towards a spiritually advanced person returns to you manifold. And not only that, if you happen to be an advanced spiritual practitioner, whatever thoughts that are directed towards you, also is going back to the person who is sending it to you.

That is the reason why, over and over again, practicing to activate your heart center with the pink flame is very important. The pink light has got a property of transmutation. The negative energy that comes to you is automatically transmuted so that nothing really goes from you back to anybody.

One of the biggest challenges and the highest level of ahimsa, non violence, is not to take sorrow or sadness from anybody. That is why, it has been said so beautifully in Hindi, ‘Na dukh do na dukh lo’; neither give sorrow nor take sorrow.

For a spiritual practitioner, taking sorrow, meaning somebody is making you sad, that actually is a karmic burden, because when somebody gives you pain, with your advanced spiritual energy, that person can experience tsunami as a karmic consequence.

That is the reason why, the highest level of ahimsa is not to get sad, not to take the pain from anybody. There is a constant blessing outpouring from you to everybody regardless of what they are doing.

So, this is exactly what Lord Christ, who represents the second aspect of divinity, which is love, divine love as we call it, he was actually praying to God at the worst of the worst moment of his life. On the cross, he was saying, ‘Lord forgive them for they know not what they do’. That is exactly what is called zero pain, zero sadness! You have to practice this highest level of ahimsa, zero reaction at any cost for the sake of the people.

So, anytime you have a tendency to judge people or criticize, quickly disintegrate that energy before that energy takes a form and starts affecting people. Why? Because thoughts being energy, if a person is already bad, you are making that person worse.

You are giving power to that negativity in the people by describing it in your mind. So, when you think of somebody as bad, the negative energy that you create is going to empower that person negatively. On one side, the person finds it difficult to change.

On the other side, you are adding to your karmic burden. Either way it is not helpful. So, whenever you have a tendency to criticize somebody, to judge somebody or have any kind of unkind thoughts radiated or directed towards somebody, use this simple affirmation: ‘I recall and cancel this thought!’

You may just imagine that you are disintegrating or erasing this energy and then continue blessing that person. Simply imagine the pink light is radiating from you, from your heart center to the person and silently say, ‘I bless you with lots of peace, lots of joy, lots of power, lots of inner strength’.

You have to be the strength of people. People cannot help themselves even if they want to help themselves. People do not have the spiritual energy to transform themselves. You have to become the stick of the blind people. They cannot help themselves and that is why you have been bestowed with so much of spiritual energy and wisdom.

All these have to have a meaningful consequence and result. You have to live spirituality in a practical way. This is very important.

If you have used harsh words, verbally ask for forgiveness.

Harsh words sometimes you have to use, but if the motive is benevolent then harsh words is quite okay. You have to remember that some of the great spiritual masters were warriors. If it is necessary to sustain dharma, righteousness, they can do anything.

Otherwise, righteousness can never be established. People cannot be helped to become better if all the time you are going to use only soothing, nurturing words without helping the person to recognize their mistakes and weaknesses, this is not going to help much.

So, in management, there is a very simple rule, of course you do not have to apply it in all the situation, but the simple rule is, if the nail is bent, you have to hit the nail to make it straight. So, in certain cases, you have to use a different types of techniques to help people to become better but remember, the underlining factor is motive.

If the motive is to punish the person, to make the person feel bad then, it’s a negative karma. If the motive is to help the person become better and after you had used the harsh speech, there is no anger in your heart. You are just like a child, smiling and laughing with that person again. No thought of that person’s weakness again comes in your mind. That means there is no reaction but you are taking proper action. You have to contemplate on all these important things.

So, do self analysis all the time. Analyze the conditions, the situations of your life, why did you attract any particular situation? Analyse on that deeply, learn the lesson that is connected with that experience and move on. Alright!

Acceleration of karma

Sometimes, your spiritual progress can accelerate your karmic cleansing and may force you to clear your karmic debts rapidly.

Hence, it is quite natural for people on the spiritual path to experience several challenges that crop up all at once.

Though quite painful at times, it is a blessing in disguise that enables one to clear the path for rapid progress.

So, if ever you are encountering too many challenges, dhiraj rakho; have patience. Ponder deeply, self-analysis, analyze what is happening with your life. There is a solution for every problem but we have to commit ourselves to work diligently.

This is very important. Dhairya! Dhiraj! Patience, courage, extremely important. You have to have courage. You have to have patience. With these two important qualities, you can conquer the world spiritually.

So, if you are confronted with any situation, work on it diligently, commit yourself to generate good karma. Often, people do not have sufficient good karma and consequently it is like going on a bumpy road without a shock absorber.

You cannot eradicate the karma that you have to face. You can only minimize the impact of the karma. That is the purpose of generating good karma. So, for a spiritual practitioner, generating good karma is actually a part of the spiritual practices.
